What We Do
Many children, teenagers and adults struggle to learn and retain new information. These challenges can significantly affect many aspects of our daily lives, including academic performance, social interaction, the ability to solve problems, and the development of self-confidence.
Planning, Organizing, Focusing, Filtering, Prioritizing and Remembering are Executive Functioning Skills that we use to learn and retain new information. As these skills develop, the motivation to engage in a learning activity increases, the acquisition and retention of information becomes routine, and the application of learned material to a given task becomes intrinsically rewarding. Utilizing the infinite applications of Lego® to the learning process, L.E.G.O. programs help children, teenagers and adults develop these essential learning skills.
L.E.G.O. uses a collaborative and cooperative-based teaching methodology. This discovery-based approach intrinsically motivates students to ask questions based upon what they are seeing, feeling, and experiencing.
